Delete your account

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. The app tells you what will be kept and what will go, then asks you to confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, write to privacy@kernelyield.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject line Delete my account. We will confirm the deletion by reply.

Your personal details: your name, email address and phone number, and your ability to sign in. These are removed from our systems.

Your field data is kept permanently: the photos, measurements, estimates, hybrid and planting details, and the exact location of each estimate, under a pseudonymous identifier that is no longer connected to you. The names and notes you typed on estimates are removed. Whether exact locations may be shared depends on the Field data choice you had made; without it, locations are coarsened in anything we share. Information already delivered to a partner before deletion is not recalled. This is described in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

If your state's law gives you a right to have that field data deleted too, write to privacy@kernelyield.com from the email address you signed in with; once verified, we delete it.

The estimates made under the account are removed from the app on that phone when the account is deleted. Estimates made on the phone without an account are not affected; you can remove them in the app or by uninstalling it.
